JIAは「社会と向き合うJIA」をモットーに、建築業界内外の建築をとりまく様々な問題解決に向けて取り組みながら、社会と共に生きる建築家集団・JIAのあり方をより広く一般の方々に向けて発信してゆきます。

UIA2011東京大会に向け、JIAは組織をあげて準備を進めてまいります。この大会では、会員一人一人が建築家精神を見つめ直し、自らのアイデンティティーを確認するとともに、広く社会に建築家への理解を深める大会としての成功をめざします。

経済状況や業務環境がますます厳しくなってきている中で、次世代JIAの基盤を強固にするため、内向きの改革＜組織再編と財務再建＞と外向きの改革＜法・資格制度改革＞の双方を並行して進めます。

'JIA Facing the Society'
	In order to resolve problems inside and outside the today’s construction industry, while widely promoting the JIA as an architect’s professional body working for the society, JIA is dealing with the issues in the society.
１．	Preparation for the UIA 2011Tokyo Congress In order to lead the UIA 2011 Tokyo Congress to a great success, JIA is promoting architects’ profession in society while fostering the architects’ spirits and recognizing our identity as architects.
２．	Internal and External Reforms In order to secure the sound base for the next generation of the JIA under the current economical depression, JIA is carrying out the following reforms: ・Internal reform: Organizational and Financial Reforms; and ・External reform: Legislation and Architect Qualification System.
